"Dax" was shown to her Canadian Championship title as a youngster and then forayed into the US ring with Mom, placing well up in the ribbons. Pressed into service to provide the next generation to Empire, Dax was bred to her paternal grandfather. She produced a litter of 4 and of the four, a male and a female were retained to be shown and subsequently incorporated into our breeding program. These were Ch Empire's New Republic (d) and Ch Empire's Northern Light (b). Dax's 2nd breeding a year later to Am Can Ch Portofino D'Audginy produced a litter of 6, 3 boys and 3 girls, Am Can Ch Empire's Paper Moon being the star. Dax's last litter, bred to BISS Am Can Ch Empire's Distant Galaxy produced Am BPIS Can Ch Empire's Rising Sun, her first dual titled Champion and our first Best Puppy in Show winner. Two of Riser's litter sisters also completed their Championship titles, Ch Empire's Reach For The Moon and Ch Empire's Reach For Tomorrow.
