"Riser" gave us the thrill of our first Best Puppy In Show. Shown in a total of seven shows to achieve his Canadian title, Riser went to the outdoor Skaha Kennel Club shows in September, 1999 with 2 points under his belt and finished at the next four shows including WD, BOS at the B.C. All Terrier Specialty, 2 breed wins over Specials, 2 Best Puppy In Groups, his Best Puppy In Show and a Group placement. In January, 2000, Riser ventured to the big US shows and earned his first major, a 4 pointer, breeder/owner handled. He also earned 2 major reserves, one of them at the Portland Miniature Schnauzer Club Specialty. Sent to Brenda Combs in May he picked up another 12 points and then headed off to Massachusetts looking for that 2nd elusive major. He found it at the Kenilworth K.C. Of Connecticut on July 7th, 2000 and finished his US title in style with a WD, BW, Best of Breed over multiple campaigned specials for his second 4 point major. The icing on the cake, he did it under movement specialist and Breeder/Judge, Carol Luke Weinberger. Our thanks to you. Our thanks to Elaine Young for his first major. On the way to his US title Riser had multiple Best of Breed wins over Specials and a Group 2 placement. Home now to take up his number one job of being spoiled rotten. Riser is proven with a Champion Best Puppy In Show winning daughter. He is offered at private stud to approved bitches only. Current eye exam, brucellosis test required.
